How to create useful FAQs for a blog or business website
Generate 1-10 helpful FAQs for blogs, articles, services or portfolio websites from up to 2,000 source characters. Edit and copy answers without signup.
- Paste 80-2,000 characters of source text containing the facts readers need.
- Optionally add up to 80 context characters and choose a tone and content type: Blog, Article, Service or Portfolio website.
- Choose 1-10 FAQs and generate. Answers aim for 2-4 useful sentences where the source supports them. If the shared AI allowance is exhausted, wait until the displayed reset time.
- Check every answer against your source. Edit questions and answers locally, then copy individual FAQs or the whole set.
Who gets the most from an FAQ draft
An FAQ section answers the questions readers would otherwise email you about. Small business owners use it on service pages to explain booking, timing and what is included. Bloggers add one under a guide to cover the follow-up questions. Freelancers place one on a portfolio site to explain how projects run.
Writing these from scratch takes time, because you have to imagine the reader's questions and then answer them clearly. This tool speeds up the first step. You paste text you have already written, and it suggests question and answer pairs based only on that text.
A worked example from real source text
Suppose you paste this 250-character description: Our online workshop teaches beginner product photography using a phone. The session lasts 60 minutes and includes lighting, backgrounds and simple editing. Participants receive a practice checklist. Registration is required; no equipment is provided.
You pick Service as the content type, a Friendly tone and three FAQs. A typical draft would include questions like How long is the workshop?, What topics does the session cover? and Do I need to bring my own equipment? The answers would restate the 60 minute length, list lighting, backgrounds and editing, and explain that no equipment is provided.
The exact wording changes from one run to the next, because the drafts are written fresh each time. What should not change is the facts. If an answer mentions a price or a refund policy that was not in your text, delete it, because your source never said it.
What the tool actually does
Your source text, optional context, tone, content type and requested count are sent to an online language model. It is instructed to use only your source, to write two to four sentence answers where the facts allow, and never to invent prices, policies or contact details. The tool then checks the format: each question must end with a question mark and stay within 160 characters, and each answer within 800.
The format check is not a fact check. A language model can still misread a sentence or join two facts in a way you did not intend. Treat every result as a draft. Read each answer against your source, correct anything that drifts, and rewrite it so it sounds like you.
Common mistakes to avoid
Do not publish the set unedited. Readers trust FAQs as official answers, so a wrong detail can cause real problems for a business. Check facts, adjust the tone to match the rest of your page, and remove any question your customers would never ask.
Thin source text is another common problem. If you paste only a slogan, there is little to build answers from and you will get fewer or weaker pairs. Include concrete details such as duration, steps, requirements and what is not included. Never paste private customer data or confidential plans.
Useful tips and limitations
- Include real details about a product, service or process; avoid confidential information.
- The AI is instructed to use only your source, but factual accuracy still needs human review.
- Write your source as short factual sentences, one fact per sentence, so each answer can be traced back to a clear line.
- Use the context field to name your audience, such as first-time buyers, so the questions match what that group would ask.
Common questions
Can this FAQ generator import a website or PDF?
No. It accepts pasted text only, keeping the request short. Copy a relevant passage into the source field.
Does the FAQ generator verify the answers independently?
No. It drafts from supplied content and checks the response format, not factual truth. Review each answer before publishing.
How many FAQs are generated per request?
Choose a maximum of 1 to 10 FAQs per request. If the source supports fewer useful answers, the tool shows that smaller set instead of an error. Add more facts for more FAQs; fewer FAQs conserve the shared daily allowance.
Why do I get different FAQs each time I generate?
The drafts are written fresh for every request, so wording and question choice vary. Pick the best version and edit it rather than expecting identical output.
What is the minimum amount of text I can paste?
The source must be at least 80 characters and no more than 2,000. Longer, fact-rich text usually gives more useful questions.
Can I edit a question without changing its answer?
Yes. The question and answer fields are edited separately on the page, and you can copy one FAQ or the full set when you are done.
Your pasted source text and options are sent to an online AI service for generation. Our application does not store prompts or results. No files are uploaded.
