How to make a lesson plan for the Nueva Escuela Mexicana
A lesson plan for the 2022 curriculum links a problem from the community with the contents and learning processes (PDA) of a field of learning, follows a methodology and plans how to assess along the way. This form walks you through each part, gives the moments of the four suggested methodologies, and saves your draft in the browser as you type.

Phases, fields and methodologies
The 2022 curriculum groups basic education in six phases and four fields of learning. SEP suggests one methodology for each field, but you can use any of them.
The seven cross-cutting axes are inclusion, critical thinking, critical interculturality, gender equality, healthy living, engaging with cultures through reading and writing, and arts and aesthetic experiences.

Which methodologies are included?
The four suggested by SEP: community project-based learning (11 moments in 3 phases), inquiry-based learning with a STEAM approach (5 phases), problem-based learning (6 moments) and service learning (5 stages).
Can I edit the plan in Word?
Yes. The .doc file opens in Microsoft Word, LibreOffice and Google Docs, where you can keep editing and save it as .docx.
Is my plan saved?

Is this an official SEP format?
