How to practise for the teacher exam

This simulator helps teachers in Mexico review the topics that usually appear in admission and promotion processes: the Constitution's Article 3, the General Education Law, the law on the teaching career, the 2022 curriculum plan of the Nueva Escuela Mexicana, planning, formative assessment, inclusion and school coexistence. It is unofficial practice: the questions are original, based on public documents, and are not the real exam.

  1. Choose Practice by topic or the timed simulation of 60 questions in 90 minutes.
  2. For practice, tick the topics and the number of questions; with no topic ticked, all topics are used.
  3. In practice mode, read the explanation and the source after each answer.
  4. In the simulation, answer in any order, go back if you need to, and finish before the time runs out.
  5. Review your results by area and the questions you missed, and download them as a PDF.

Useful tips and limitations

  • Read the official documents linked at the bottom of the page; the explanations point to the article or section each answer comes from.
  • Practise the areas where you score under 70 % first, then do a full simulation to work on timing.

No. This is unofficial practice and is not affiliated with SEP or USICAMM. The questions are original and the real exam, its guides and its rules are published only by the authorities.

Each question was written for this site and checked against a public document: Article 3 of the Constitution, the General Education Law, the General Law of the System for the Career of Teachers, SEP agreements 08/08/23 and 10/09/23, and SEP curriculum documents.

Are the laws up to date?

The questions follow the versions available in November 2026, including the reform of Article 3 published on 15 April 2025 and the General Education Law as last reformed on 15 January 2026. Laws change, so always check the current text.
